Kehat Shorr was born February 21, 1919 in Romania.
 During World War II, he made sorties into Romanian

 cities to rescue hidden Jews. Kehat proved to be an

 excellent marksman and was awarded the highest

 decorations. Kehat turned down offers from the

 Romanians, as he had fought for the Jewish people, not

 Romania. He made aliyah to Israel in 1963, moving to

 el Aviv with his wife and daughter. Kehat joined the

 Hapoel Tel Aviv shooting team and became

 Israel's national shooting coach, training many young

 Israeli marksmen. Kehat gave up competing to become

 a coach, and trained Israel's national shooting team for

 the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
